This is an un-restored original antique Victorian steamer trunk made of wood, trimmed with steel and stunning brass accents, hardwood slats, and featuring a lid with a slight arc.
Would be a beautiful storage trunk or toy box, or a great addition to your collection.
It has the original beautiful ornate latches/clasps, handles, leather straps inside, and lock (but no key). It is a bit battered and scratched with original brown material slightly torn away from the wood in spots – but gives a neat rustic look.
This piece is currently in the Flinders Ranges and may be able to be delivered if you are on direct route between Hawker and Adelaide. Please just let me know where you are located.
